چکیده

The production cross-section of 68Ge, 69Ge, 65Zn and 67Ga radioisotopes from alpha-induced nuclear reaction with natZn have been measured using the stacked foil activation technique followed by off-line γ-ray spectroscopy in incident alpha energy range 14-37 MeV. obtained cross-sections are compared previous experimental data available EXFOR library, evaluated TENDL-2019 theoretical results, calculated TALYS code. We also performed detailed uncertainty analysis for these reactions their respective correlation metrics presented. Since α-induced important medicine developing codes so needful corrections related to coincidence summing factor geometric considered during present study.

Simplified Approach for Torsional Analysis of Non-homogenous Tubes with Non-circular Cross-sections

In this paper a method is presented for torsional analysis of non-homogeneous tubes with arbitrarily shaped cross-sections. A previously presented method based on Bredt’s theory is extended to achieve formulas for torsional analysis. Shear modulus varies through the thickness according to a power law distribution. To validate the accuracy of the presented formulas for angle of twist and shear s...

Measurement of reaction cross-sections for Y at average neutron energies of 7.24-24.83 MeV

We measured neutron-induced reaction cross-sections for Y(n,γ)Y and Y(n,α)Rb reactions with the average neutron energy region from 7.45 to 24.83 MeV by an activation and off-line γ-ray spectrometric technique using the MC-50 Cyclotron at Korea Institute of Radiological and Medical Sciences. The neutron-induced reaction cross-sections of Y as a function of neutron energy were taken from the TEND...

Measurement of (α,n) reaction cross sections of erbium isotopes for testing astrophysical rate predictions

The γ-process in core-collapse and/or type Ia supernova explosions is thought to explain the origin of the majority of the so-called p nuclei (the 35 proton-rich isotopes between Se and Hg). Reaction rates for γ-process reaction network studies have to be predicted using Hauser-Feshbach statistical model calculations. Recent investigations have shown problems in the prediction of α-widths at as...

Free Vibration Analysis of BNNT with Different Cross-Sections via Nonlocal FEM

In the present study, free vibration behaviors of of carbon nanotube (CNT) and boron nitride nanotube (BNNT) have been investigated via Eringen’s nonlocal continuum theory. Size effect has been considered via nonlocal continuum theory. Nanotubes have become popular in the world of science thanks to their characteristic properties. In this study, free vibrations of Boron Nitride Nanotube (BNNT) ...

Measurement of residual nucleus cross sections

The production of residual nuclei in p + Fe collisions has been measured at GSI on the FRS facility by means of the reverse kinematic techniques at 300, 500, 750, 1000 and 1500 MeV/A. The cross-sections larger than 0.01 mb of all isotopes with Z larger than 8 have been obtained. Velocity distributions were also measured. Comparisons to models describing spallation reactions and some empirical f...
